Shipping & Handling - Free Shipping Policy Information

The Launch Pad offers free shipping on web orders of $399.00 or more, excluding taxes. Orders must be shipped within the contiguous 48 states via standard Ground shipping. Heavyweight and oversize orders (orders containing individual items exceeding carrier weight or dimension limitations) and orders with shipping charges of $100 or more are not included in this offer. PO Box and APO/FPO addresses are excluded due to U.S. Postal Service regulations. The terms of this offer are subject to change at any time.

Shipping & Handling General Information

All new items in stock are shipped within one business day of the purchase. Refurbished notebooks typically ship in 2 days as each notebook is tested and setup when ordered. Orders finalized before 2:00 PM EST will be shipped the same day.

The Launch Pad uses insured UPS, Fedex or Airborne carriers based on your selection during the purchase with the required signature during delivery. DHL may be used for oversize deliveries.

All sales with shipping address different from the billing address will be verified by phone.

Rates are based on item weight and size. To view your shipping costs on an item or order, click the shipping icon which will appear next to the order price once it is added to the cart.

Following are the standard delivery time frames based on chosen shipping method: 

Overnight Delivery

• Overnight orders are shipped for next day delivery.
• Overnight shipping is available throughout the continental United States. Please note some areas require additional delivery time. Oversized and heavyweight items may also require additional delivery time as well as delivery assistance. For more details, call us at 1-888-920-3450.
• We employ major package carriers for our Overnight Air shipments.
• Orders placed after 2:00 pm Friday via this method cannot be shipped on the weekend and will ship the following Monday.
• If you'd like to specify a carrier, please call us and we will be happy to make arrangements for you.

2nd-Day Air

• 2nd-day shipping is available throughout the continental United States. Please note some areas require additional delivery time. Oversized and heavyweight items may also require additional delivery time as well as delivery assistance. For more details, call us at 1-813-920-0788.
• We employ major package carriers for our 2nd Day Air shipments.
• Orders placed after 2pm EST Friday or on Saturday or Sunday will be delivered on Wednesday.
• Rates include freight plus handling/packaging

Ground Shipping

Delivery (in-stock items)

• 2-5 business days depending on warehouse availability. The closest available warehouse will always be selected for shipment. The Launch Pad warehouse locations include FL, GA, TX, NV, NJ, KS, IL and CA
• Ground shipping is available throughout the continental United States. Please note some areas require additional delivery time. Oversized and heavyweight items may also require additional delivery time as well as delivery assistance. For more details, call us at 1-813-920-0788.
• Ground orders may be shipped by UPS, Airborne Express or Fedex Ground, our primary carrier.
• If you'd like to specify a carrier, please call us and we will be happy to make arrangements for you.
• Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be delivered in 1 to 5 days, beginning on Tuesday. Delivery time depends upon the shipping address and the carrier used.
• Rates include freight plus handling/packaging.

Weekend Delivery

To arrange for weekend delivery, please notify your sales representative or contact our customer service department before placing your order.

Alaska and Hawaii Shipping & Handling Options

• Ground service, including USPS, is not available at this time.
• Some orders may require extra shipping time to reach their destination.
• Items over 150 lbs. cannot be shipped to Alaska or Hawaii.
• Rates include freight plus handling/packaging.

Oversize and Heavyweight Items

• What is an "oversize" item? Oversize items are defined as oversize due to either their weight or dimensions.
• What is a "heavyweight" item? Heavyweight items are defined as items that weigh more than 150 pounds.
• Shipping.Oversize and heavyweight items are shipped via Roadway or Yellow Freight trucking lines.
• Delivery Assistance. Oversize and heavyweight items are generally delivered to destinations via shipping departments. Customers requesting lift gate or inside delivery assistance on these items are asked to notify The Launch Pad at the time of order. If you request delivery assistance, a minimum charge of $150 will be assessed to cover added costs. Oversize (extremely large or bulky) or heavy shipments may result in additional charges for inside delivery assistance.

• Shipping to PO Boxes is Not Available in most case. If you require shipping to a P.O. box or rural route please contact our customer service department to make arrangements.

• Required Signatures

For your protection, we require a signature for all shipments totaling more than $800 as well as for orders being shipped to apartments and businesses. If you are not available to sign for your package, we cannot ensure next-day delivery.

* Carrier schedules are subject to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to airline deliveries unavailability of, or refusal of, a person to accept delivery of the shipment, acts of God, public authorities acting with actual or apparent authority on the premises, acts or omissions of customs or similar authorities, riots, strikes or other labor disputes, civil commotion, disruptions in air or ground transportation networks, such as weather phenomena, and natural disasters.
