Outlook & Outlook Express E-mail Client Setup and Server Settings
*Note for New Hosting Customers - SMB LiveHost: The Managed Hosting Difference: Our staff can assist you in moving your website and e-mail to your new Launch
Pad Hosting Account. Typically, we time migrations and DNS moves for existing domains during the weekend when traffic is lower. This can be arranged with
your client solutions manager who will assist in mirroring your site(s) and e-mail accounts on our servers. You will receive notification that the DNS has moved to our
server and once you make the changes below you should start processing e-mail on our server. If you need assistance, please contact hosting@launchpadonline.com or contact your Client Solutions Manager directly.
You will need to make the following modifications to Outlook or Outlook Express to access mail service on our servers. Below are the
setting you will need to enter in your e-mail program:
Microsoft Outlook:
In Outlook, go up to Tools, Email Accounts.
View or change existing email account properties.
Highlight the account and click the Change button.
Leave your name "as is" and make sure your email address appears as in the list above.
Change both the incoming (POP3) and outgoing (SMTP) servers to: mail.yourdomain.com.
Change your user name and password as per the list above
(both user name and password are case sensitive).
Make sure that the box for: Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) is NOT checked.
Click the More Settings button.
Click the tab for Outgoing Server.
Make sure that the top box, 'My outgoing server (SMTP)
requires authentication IS checked, and that the first radio button, Use same settings as my incoming mail server is selected.
Click OK.
Then click Next and Finish.
You can then click the Send and Receive button and you should be able to send and receive without error.

Highlight your account and click the Properties button on the right.
Change the username and password per the list above.
The incoming (POP3) and outgoing (SMTP) settings are in the
